Onhold & Instore Music Media Player Easy Start Guide

  1. Check that you have received all the listed items

  2. Connect the black end of the RCA audio cable to the red socket on the 3.5mm adapter. This may already have been done for you prior to dispatch.

  3. Connect the 3.5mm end of the adapter to the HEADPHONE socket on the media player. Connect the red/white RCA audio cable to your music amplifier.

  4. Connect the LIU into the white socket on the 3.5mm adapter (this may have been done for you). The other end of the LIU should be connected to your phone system. There are various adapters available in the LIU box to best suit your phone system.

  5. Connect the RJ45 internet cable to the media player and plug the other end into your modem/router or network connection.

  6. Connect the power supply to the media player. A blue light will display on the player showing it is turned on. It may flash a purple colour for approx. 5-10mins while the player powers up. The Onhold & music will commence after this returns to a solid blue light.


Congratulations! You have just installed your 1800 Onhold & Moov Music service and should hear music playing through your speakers AND the Onhold playing through your phone system after the media player has been turned on for 5-10 minutes. You can adjust the volume of the instore music via the music amplifier and adjust the volume of the onhold messaging via the LIU.

NO AUDIO?
Check the RCA cable and ensure the amplifier is turned on and the volume is up, then check that the LIU is connected securely. The media player may still be powering up, wait for 5-10 minutes after plugging power in.

USB PORTS/VGA SCREEN
These will only be used under instruction from our Technical Department. Do not connect without authorization from a 1800 Onhold representative.

MEDIA PLAYER SURROUNDINGS
Ensure the media player’s surroundings provide adequate air flow and the cooling fins are not covered. A clearance of 20cm is recommended between the sides and top of the media player.
