USB40 Easy Start Guide

1. Check that you have received all items:


2. Plug the 12V Power Adaptor into a wall socket and then connect it to the 12VDC socket on the rear of the USB40.


3. The 'Hold Music' or 'MOH' socket on your phone system connects to the yellow 600 OHMS socket on the rear of the USB40 via a Line Isolation Unit (LIU).


4. The 3.5mm to RCA Adaptor will allow you to connect to the 3.5mm Line Isolation Unit (LIU) to the media player. From the LIU kit provided, choose a suitable cable to connect to your phone system.


5. Insert the USB thumb drive into the USB socket on the front of the USB40.


6. The light labeled POWER will illuminate red when the power is connected.


7. Press the Speaker On/Off button to verify audio playback. We recommend turning the speaker off for normal operation.


8. Call 1800 644 653 and ask for our Customer Service team. They will check your on hold is working correctly and make sure the volume is at a perfect level. The volume knob is at the back of the unit.
